Privacy Policy
Horse Collar (“the app”) is published by RC Digital LLC (“we,” “us”). We built Horse Collar to be a simple card game, and we designed it to collect as little about you as possible. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version
- No account. You don’t sign up, log in, or give us an email or phone number.
- No ads and no tracking. We don’t use advertising, analytics, or any third‑party tracking, and we never track you across other apps or websites.
- We don’t sell or share your data. Ever.
What the app handles
Display name. When you play online multiplayer, you choose a display name so other players can tell who’s who. It can be anything you like — it doesn’t have to be your real name. It’s shown to the other players in your game.
Live game data. During an online game, the moves and scores for that game are sent through our server so all players stay in sync. Each device is identified only by a random code generated for that session — it isn’t linked to your identity.
On‑device game history. Your past games and stats are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to us. You can erase them any time with “Clear History” inside the app, or by deleting the app.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise or coarse location, or any advertising or device identifier used for tracking. The app does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt because it does no tracking.
Service providers
We use Supabase to host the multiplayer service (the realtime connection and temporary game rooms). When you play online, the game data described above passes through Supabase’s servers solely to run the match. Supabase acts as our processor and does not use this data for its own purposes. You can read Supabase’s privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
Data retention
Online game rooms are temporary and are discarded after games end. We do not maintain a profile of you between games. Your on‑device history stays on your device until you clear it or remove the app.
Children’s privacy
Horse Collar is a general‑audience card game. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because there is no account and no personal data is collected, there is nothing for a parent to request that we delete on our servers; on‑device history can be cleared inside the app at any time.
Your choices
You can play the entire game in single‑player without any data leaving your device. If you’d like any question answered or want us to confirm that no information about you is stored on our side, email us — we’ll respond.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data (for example, if we later add an optional ad‑supported tier), we’ll update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
